Our own 9mine email accounts have been getting deceptive emails with attachments containing viruses. We suspect some of our registered users have been getting similar emails as well. That's why we are writing this to alert our valuable customers. A typical virus email is sent from webmaster@9mine.com and has a serious-sounding subject title like "Your password has been updated", or "*DETECTED* ONLINE USER VIOLATION", with an attachement file, typically in Zip format. Please beware! These emails were NOT sent by 9mine. In fact, 9mine.com rarely sends out emails to our registered users and will most likely not send attachments. Please be vigilant about these emails and do not fall victim to them. Cheers, 9mine Support Staff |
